On December 11-12, the 3rd plenary meeting of the China-EU Balancing Transport Coordination Committee was held in Chengdu. The meeting also made it clear that in 2019, China and Europe will focus on promoting the work of class transportation in five areas: encouraging full-load transportation, strengthening the construction of the whole platform, optimizing class transportation, strengthening safety precautions and strengthening system construction. Among them, in the newly formulated "Evaluation Index for High-quality Development of Banquets in Central Europe", on the premise of keeping the existing statistical evaluation indexes unchanged, some new indicators such as heavy box rate and conversion column of liner transportation were added, and the current domestic policy of bundling by line assessment was adjusted to bundling assessment by volume and price. Established in May 2017, the China-EU Ban-Le Transport Coordination Committee was initiated by China Railway Corporation. China Railway Container Company and seven local platforms such as Chongqing, Chengdu, Zhengzhou, Wuhan, Suzhou, Yiwu and Xi'an jointly initiated the establishment of a win-win, standardized, orderly, healthy and sustainable development of a new platform for cooperation and sharing between Ban-Le and China. Since its establishment more than a year ago, the Committee has achieved remarkable results in the construction of institutional mechanisms, optimization of class organization, improvement of service quality, deepening international coordination, and expansion of brand influence. At present, more than 12,000 queues have been set up in China and Europe. The two-way transportation between them is becoming more and more balanced. The proportion of the number of return queues and the number of outgoing queues has reached 71%, basically achieving the goal of "going four to three". The scope of operation is expanding continuously. There are 56 domestic cities with access to 49 cities in 15 European countries.
A total of more than 110 representatives from the leading group office of the "one belt and one road" construction work, the China Railway Corporation and the 44 central and European business management units and research institutes in China have attended the meeting.
